Hello dear friends,
The Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom (FDCW) is now looking to recruit a 16 Guidelines Programme Manager to join our London based team.
FDCW is an educational non-profit organization that promotes peace and positive social change through lifelong learning inspired by the emphasis on 'secular ethics' developed by its Patron, The Dalai Lama.
The 16 Guidelines for Life was launched in 2006 and consists of a set of practical and straight-forward tools for developing positive qualities such as patience, contentment, honesty and kindness both for one's individual well-being as well as one's family and the wider community.
The 16 Guidelines book has been published in five languages and workshops have taken place in 24 countries across all continents. The book and workshops have catalysed a wide range of 16 Guidelines inspired community programmes in areas such as schools, youth work, prisons, health and social care, business leadership and other settings.
The 16 Guidelines Programme Manager will bring:
• Energy and enthusiasm for collaborating and building relationships throughout an international network of 16 Guidelines facilitators, volunteers and partners; • Management and administrative skills to support the implementation of the 16 Guidelines training pathway and the development of new 16 Guidelines learning resources; • Passion for engaging creatively with and supporting the thriving 16 Guidelines community worldwide via various communication channels on-line and in person.
You can download the application pack here.
Applicants need to be eligible to work in the UK. The closing date for applications is midday February 22nd 2015.
With love,
The FDCW team
